The race start, T1 and T2 and finish are all at Bayfront Park. The bike course will take competitors through Watson Island, then loop back south toward Homestead, passing through Coral Gables, Coconut Grove and Pinecrest and returning to downtown Miami. The run portion of the event consists of an out-and-back along MacArthur Causeway.
The field is limited to 2000 entrants.
The race will be timed using the IPICO Sports Sportag™ technology.
Water temperatures are expected to be between 76-78°F (24-26°C).
The swim finish is about 150 yards (130m) from the entrance to the transition area.
