Coach Mark McDonnell is an active masters competitor in the sports of triathlon, distance running, track & field, cross country running and road cycling. He has coached professionally since 1993. His current certifications include:
- USA Triathlon—Level 1
- USA Track & Field—Level 2 (Endurance)
- USA Cycling—Expert Level
- National Strength & Conditioning Association—CSCS & NSCA-CPT
- American Red Cross—CPR for the Professional Rescuer & Sports First Aid
- Active Isolated Stretching Flexibility Technician
He is privileged to coach Boys & Girls Cross Country at Rice Memorial High School in South Burlington, VT.
